This promotional savings website for General Mills (GMI) products within Publix, was in need of a refreshed identity and layout to provide greater flexibility to it’s vast array of event campaigns. The challenge, provide a broader system of modular options for event campaign build outs and improve the user experience by implementing new interactive features such as recipe pages, videos and ease of coupon use. All this needed to live in a site that would feature a variety of GMI products and events living together in harmony

Process

Beginning with a refreshed logo our core template is designed in tones of grey with the sole use of Publix’s signature green. We added texture sparingly, reminiscent of coupon savings and implemented a primary design goal in keeping a clean surround that allows varied event campaigns to live as the prominent features within this site. Built with a modular structure, flexible event campaign pages were designed to include elements such as coupons, recipes and video. Background and typography could also be customized to each campaign. The end design provides a flexible and broad system for creating new diverse events within the website.
